Sacred Spaces
Sacred Spaces is an album of modern Indo-Pakistani instrumental music. It explores the musical language of these cultures by an effective use of the raga system to paint emotional landscapes that are otherwise difficult to find. It features traditional instruments sitting comfortably alongside guitars and synths using Western structures and forms.
Broken Roots
Broken Roots is a reflection of my childhood growing up in Karachi. It is stylistically similar to Sacred Spaces but has a different emotional spectrum as different ragas have been used. It features traditional instruments alongside guitars and synths.
Desert Caravan
Desert Caravan is a collection of modern Middle Eastern tracks. It features exotic rhythms and mystical melodies using a combination of traditional and Western instruments. The compositions are strong and represents the music from a variety of countries from that region.
